Nowadays, social sites are part of our daily lives. We use them as a new form of communication in the same way letters or even emails were used in the past. But are they actually convenient for us?

Firstly, their major advantage is their capacity of making us able to communicate at high speeds from different places. Besides, they improve the freedom of expression, since everybody can give their opinion on them.

On the other hand, they create a huge dependence that affects our personal relationships with family, partners and friends.  In the past, people used to spend more time talking with their relatives or meeting friends.

In conclusion, it could be said that social sites are a good tool but we don’t use them correctly. I hope that in the future our use of social sites will be balanced. When we are connected we get disconnected of real life.
